Chapman says he's ready to go in Game 7

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon will have All-Star closer Aroldis Chapman at his disposable for Game 7 of the World Series.

Shortly after throwing 20 pitches over 1 1/3 innings in the 9-3 win in Game 6 over the Cleveland Indians, Chapman confirmed that he will be available without limitations for Wednesday, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.

While talking to reporters, Chapman also confirmed that he's 100 percent despite appearing to injure his leg recording the final out of the seventh inning. The left-hander ran to cover first base and came up limping following the close play. Despite walking off the field gingerly, Chapman would come out in the eighth appearing to be fine.

Chapman has been a workhorse for Maddon this postseason, especially in the World Series. He's thrown 102 pitches over 6 1/3 innings against the Indians - including a 42-pitch effort in Game 5 in which he converted an eight-out save.
