Indians remain undefeated when Allen, Miller both pitch

Bruce Kluckhohn / USA TODAY Sports

When the Cleveland Indians send both Andrew Miller and Cody Allen to the mound in a game, their opposition should prepare to lose.

After the Indians defeated the Chicago Cubs in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday, they improved to 23-0 when both of their stud relievers take the hill.

On Friday, Miller pitched 1 1/3 innings, recording three strikeouts and pushing his postseason scoreless innings streak to 15, while Allen earned his sixth save of the playoffs.

He, like Miller, hasn't allowed a single run to cross home plate while he's been on the mound in the postseason.

The pair have also combined to allow just 14 hits in 25 innings, while striking out 45.
