Braves affiliate renames team Florida Fire Frogs

Following the trend of naming every team in the Atlanta organization the Braves clearly wasn't important to the newly appointed Class-A affiliate Florida Fire Frogs.

Previously known as the Brevard County Manatees, the organization is in the process of relocating to Kissimmee, Fla., and fielded input from fans on what their new team name should be, according to Benjamin Hill of MiLB.com.

Instead of simply going with the Florida Braves, the team settled on the Fire Frogs.

Other candidates included the Dragonflies, Mud Kickers, Rodeo Clowns, Sorcerers, and Toucans.
