Bill Murray to sing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' for Game 3

Bill Murray's face has been all over the Chicago Cubs' postseason, it only makes sense the team throws in his voice, too.

The Emmy Award-winning actor has made cameo after cameo in the stands while the Cubs progressed to the World Series, even crashing a White House briefing to pledge his support for his favorite team.

Now, for the first World Series game at Wrigley Field since 1945, Murray will keep alive a famous Cubs tradition when he lends his pipes to the traditional singing of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" in the middle of the seventh inning, according to MLB.com's Adam McCalvy.

It won't be the first time Murray has gotten the Wrigley crowd going from the booth, as the Illinois native's rendition of the baseball classic has generally been perceived to be one of the best:

Numerous celebrities have also taken part in the tradition started by legendary broadcaster Harry Caray over the years, including even both current presidential nominees, Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton.
