Look: LeBron sends Indians gifts ahead of World Series opener
LeBron James continues to spread the love in Cleveland.
Having already delivered the city its first championship in 52 years last spring when the Cleveland Cavaliers claimed the NBA championship, James made sure to send the Cleveland Indians a gift as they begin their quest for a first World Series title since 1948.
James sent players custom headphones along with a message reading, "It's your turn ... #RallyTogether, #StriveForGreatness" as a way to congratulate them on reaching the World Series. In return, star shortstop Francisco Lindor signed a jersey for James, while Jose Ramirez left him a pair of tickets.
Tuesday is one of the biggest nights in Cleveland sports history. The Cavaliers host their home opener and will receive championship rings commemorating the 2016 title, while the Indians open Game 1 of the World Series across the street.
