Expect to see more "Grilli cheese" in 2017.

Speaking at the team's year-end press conference, Toronto Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said it's "close to a no-brainer" the team will exercise Jason Grilli's $3-million option for 2017.

The soon-to-be 40-year-old reliever was acquired by the Blue Jays on May 31 from the Atlanta Braves and performed well as the team's setup man. In 46 games, Grilli posted a 3.64 ERA, 58 strikeouts, and a 1.11 WHIP that was his best mark since 2013.

In addition to Grilli, the Blue Jays have some important decisions to make regarding their bullpen, with Brett Cecil, Joaquin Benoit, and Scott Feldman all heading to free agency.
