Cubs' Kyle Schwarber: Sent to Arizona Fall League

Schwarber (knee) is headed to the Arizona Fall League, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

The 23-year-old will reportedly be in the lineup for the Mesa Solar Sox on Saturday, marking his return to game action after more than six months on the shelf due to a serious knee injury. Schwarber suffered a fully torn ACL and LCL in an outfield collision with Dexter Fowler in the Cubs' third game of the season. He will lose catcher eligibility in most formats in 2017, but Schwarber's bat should keep him highly relevant in mixed leagues.
