The Cleveland Indians are on their way to the World Series after defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League Championship Series on Wednesday.

After Troy Tulowitzki popped a fastball from Cody Allen into foul territory, first baseman Carlos Santana secured the final out of the Indians' 3-0 victory over the Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre.

The Dominican fell to his knees and sent a kiss to the sky before his teammates tackled him in celebration.

Cleveland advances to the World Series for the first time since 1997, and will await the winner of the NLCS between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers.
