Vegas tabs Dodgers as new World Series favorites
With a victory over the Chicago Cubs at Chavez Ravine on Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers - now up 2-1 in their best-of-seven showdown - have usurped the National League Central champions as the Vegas favorites to take home the 2016 World Series.
Following their 6-0 win in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, the Dodgers - who, five days ago, were 9/2 underdogs to even win the pennant - are now 7/4 favorites to win the World Series over at both Bovada and Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

The Dodgers, who will send rookie left-hander Julio Urias to the mound against the slumping Cubs lineup in Game 4, haven't won a World Series title since 1988, which is also the last year Los Angeles earned the NL pennant.
Boasting a 3-1 lead in the American League Championship Series, the Cleveland Indians have also eclipsed the Cubs on the betting board, with their World Series odds pegged at 9/5 as they head into Game 5 against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre on Wednesday afternoon.
