Giants' Josh Osich: Undergoes minor knee surgery Tuesday
Osich underwent minor surgery on his left knee Tuesday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Analysis:
Osich is scheduled to return home from his procedure Wednesday, and there's no reason to believe that it will impact his availability for the 2017 season. Osich finished the year with a subpar 4.71 ERA and 1.38 WHIP but dominated left-handed hitters. Lefties hit a bleak .154 and recorded only three RBI versus Osich, while righties managed to hit .322 versus the 28-year-old.
