La Russa to remain with D-Backs as chief baseball analyst/advisor

Tony La Russa is sticking around the Arizona Diamondbacks with a new title.
As the club introduced incoming general manager Mike Hazen on Monday, the Diamondbacks also assigned La Russa with the title of chief baseball analyst/advisor.
It's unclear what La Russa will do within the organization.
La Russa's former role as chief baseball officer encompassed working in collaboration with ex-D-Backs general manager Dave Stewart, who was fired at season's end.
