Watch: Zobrist easily throws out A-Gon at home

The Los Angeles Dodgers apparently didn't learn any lessons from Jayson Werth's egregious send home during Game 5 of the NLDS.

Two days after the Nationals outfielder was hosed at home by Corey Seager on a relay from Andrew Toles, Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez was waved home from second on a play he had no chance of scoring on.

With third-base coach Chris Woodward encouraging the big first baseman to score on Kenta Maeda's single, Cubs left fielder Ben Zobrist connected with catcher David Ross for an easy inning-ending assist.

The play kept the Dodgers off the score board, and prompted a few hilarious memes from the internet.
