With heavy rain in the forecast for Wednesday, Major League Baseball has called an audible.

The league announced that first pitch for Game 2 of the World Series between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs has been moved up to 7:08 p.m. ET at Progressive Field. It was originally scheduled for 8:08 p.m.

Light rain is expected to begin in the afternoon, with a 90 percent chance of showers overnight. The teams will have Thursday off before the series shifts to Chicago for Game 3 on Friday.
