The agony of defeat in the postseason continued for both the Washington Nationals and manager Dusty Baker.

With the Nationals heartbreaking Game 5 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Baker's streak of consecutive games in which he's failed to win a series deciding postseason match reached nine, a spell that began in 2003 when he was managing the Chicago Cubs.

Unfortunately for the Nationals, their streak of bad postseason luck also continued, as they lost their third NLDS in the past five years.
