Blue Jays' Francisco Liriano: Expects to be available for ALCS

Liriano (concussion) expects to be activated from the disabled list Saturday when first eligible, Sportsnet's Barry Davis reports.

Analysis:

Liriano was removed from the Blue Jays' ALDS roster and placed on the 7-day concussion disabled list after being struck by a line drive last Friday, and it appears that will be the extent of his absence. Liriano will not be available for Game 1 of the ALCS on Friday, but barring any setbacks, he should be able to pitch if needed during the remainder of the series.
