Reds' Tyler Holt: Outrighted to minors

Holt was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Analysis:

Holt made it through waivers unclaimed, and he'll now head into the offseason off the major league roster. The 27-year-old appeared in 106 contests this year, but hit just .235 and didn't get a plate appearance over the final 11 games of the season, so it's unclear what the league's level of interest will be when he hits free agency following the conclusion of the World Series.
