Watch: Donaldson scores winning run on Odor's error

The Toronto Blue Jays exacted revenge on Rougned Odor in the best way possible - at his own expense.

Five months after the Rangers' controversial second baseman punched Jose Bautista in the face - and several innings after his key two-run shot kept his team afloat in Sunday's Game 3 - Odor threw away a potential inning-ending double play as Josh Donaldson hustled home to score the winning walk-off run and clinch the Blue Jays a second straight trip to the ALCS.

Odor was charged with an error on the play, which began when Russell Martin hit a grounder to Elvis Andrus with two runners on and one out in the bottom of the 10th, and the game tied 6-6. Andrus fielded the ball, went to second for the force, and Odor's throw went wide of first baseman Mitch Moreland.

Donaldson, who led off the inning with a double to the gap, raced around from second to score after Moreland's throw was late. Rangers manager Jeff Banister challenged the the slide at second but the call was upheld after video replay.

"I felt like I had to take a chance," Donaldson told reporters. "And that situation in the game, if he ends up throwing me out, making a great play you kind of have to tip your cap to him. But I'm banking on the fact that I'm going to make it more times than not, and it ended up working out for us tonight."

The Blue Jays will play either the Indians or Red Sox, who resume their best-of-five series Monday at Fenway Park. Cleveland leads Boston 2-0.
