Lester tabbed for Game 1 of NLCS

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon announced Thursday that left-hander Jon Lester will start Game 1 of the National League Championship Series.

Maddon did not confirm any starters other than Lester, although he's leaning towards Kyle Hendricks in Game 2.

The Cubs won't know their opposition until a winner is decided between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals on Thursday night.
