Angels' Jhoulys Chacin: Blanks Astros over seven innings Sunday

Chacin (6-8) tossed seven scoreless innings Sunday, scattering four hits and a walk while striking out seven in a win over the Astros.

Analysis:

It's a nice way to finish the regular season, but Chacin still posted a 4.81 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 119:55 K:BB in 144 innings divided between the Angels and Braves this year. He'll head into 2017 looking to compete for a rotation job, but he might have to settle for a long-relief or swingman role.
