Pirates' Starling Marte: Not in Thursday's lineup
Marte (back) remains out of the lineup Thursday.
Analysis:
He appeared as a pinch hitter Tuesday but had no game action Wednesday. Pittsburgh understandably doesn't seem keen to rush back a player of Marte's ilk now that they're eliminated from postseason eligibility. Sean Rodriguez will man left field and hit fifth Thursday.
