Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Not scheduled to make another start

Kazmir (intercostal spasms) is not scheduled to make another start during the regular season.

Analysis:

Julio Urias is starting Thursday, and Rich Hill, Clayton Kershaw and Kenta Maeda will follow (in that order) against the Giants in the final regular-season series. Kazmir only lasted one inning his last time out -- his first start back from neck and blister issues -- before intercostal spasms forced him off the hill. Manager Dave Roberts suggested Wednesday that Urias is an option to start in the postseason, so Kazmir may be relegated to long-relief duty assuming he makes the NLDS roster.
