Toronto Blue Jays left-hander Francisco Liriano is good to go after suffering a concussion in Game 2 of the ALDS against the Texas Rangers.

Liriano was drilled by a comebacker to the head off the bat of Carlos Gomez and was forced to sit out the remainder of the series. After undergoing tests on Tuesday, he says he's symptom-free.

"It feels good. Everything’s back to normal. I don’t feel anything weird," Liriano told Sportsnet's Arden Zwelling. "I had a little dizziness the first couple days but now everything’s gone. I feel back to normal now. No head aches, no dizziness, no nothing."

Liriano was immediately removed from the game, but walked off under his own power. He experienced dizziness in the days following the event. MLB rules state that once a player is diagnosed with a concussion, he's forced to sit out for seven days.

After working out on an exercise bike and playing catch, he feels as though he'll be ready to pitch against the Cleveland Indians right away.

"It got me pretty good," Liriano said. "It could’ve been a lot worse. Thankfully it wasn’t."

Liriano has only appeared in two innings this postseason, giving up two runs on two hits while walking one.
