Diamondbacks' Welington Castillo: Out of Thursday's lineup

Castillo is out of Thursday's lineup against the Nationals, CSN Mid-Atlantic's Chase Hughes reports.

Analysis:

He started the last seven games for the Diamondbacks, but will be replaced behind the dish by Tuffy Gosewisch on Thursday. Castillo made significant gains in batting average and OBP this season over his 2015 numbers, but his owners likely drafted him with hopes of him replicating the 19 homers he hit last year, so the fact that he only has 14 long balls on the season comes as something of a disappointment.
