Pirates' Gregory Polanco: Dealing with neck stiffness
Polanco is out of Wednesday's lineup against the Cubs due to a stiff neck, Travis Sawchik of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
Analysis:
Initially thought to be a day off, Polanco is actually out Wednesday due to some neck stiffness that'll cause manager Clint Hurdle to plug Josh Bell into right field. Polanco and the Pirates are banged up heading into the final days of the 2016 season, with the likes of Neftali Feliz (arm) and Francisco Cervelli (hand) potentially done for the year. That said, Polanco has yet to be officially ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Cubs.
