Red Sox's David Price: Has eight-game winning streak snapped

Price (17-9) struggled in Tuesday's loss at Yankee Stadium, giving up six runs on 12 hits and a walk while striking out only two in 6.1 innings.

Analysis:

Price had won eight consecutive decisions coming into this one, but homers by Gary Sanchez, Didi Gregorius and Tyler Austin helped snap that streak. He'll start in Game 162 Sunday against Toronto only if the Red Sox need a win to clinch the AL East. Should the southpaw be rested for the playoffs in the finale, he'll finish the season with a 4.04 ERA to go with 224 strikeouts.
