Reds' Brandon Phillips: Leaves with hand injury

Phillips left Tuesday's game with a left hand injury and X-rays were negative, the Cincinnati Enquirer's C. Trent Rosecrans reports.

Analysis:

He went 0-for-3 with an RBI and two strikeouts before exiting. The fact that X-rays were negative suggests there's a chance that he could return before the end of the season. Ivan De Jesus, Tony Renda and Hernan Iribarren are options to fill in at the keystone while Phillips is out.
