Watch: Ortiz knows Yankee fans plan to moon him Thursday

David Ortiz may indeed get a warm reception from the fans in the Bronx this week as he plays out his final series at Yankee Stadium, but the retiring Boston Red Sox icon also noted that some fans have planned a much more, er, hostile welcome.

During his appearance on "Late Night with Seth Myers" on Monday, a dapper Ortiz was asked how he expects to get treated throughout his final series, and the 41-year-old seemed anxious about a nefarious, bare-all plan concocted by a cadre of shameless Yankees fans.

"Well, last time I was here, they were planning to moon me," Ortiz told an incredulous Myers. Naturally, the host inquired as to how many brave Yankees enthusiasts were in on this scheme.

"50,000 moons," Ortiz replied. "We're talking about 100,000 buttcheeks."

Indeed, according to MoonBigPapi.com, a mass mooning is scheduled for Thursday, and the site's authors are expecting "at least 10,000 participants, including a 95 percent participation rate in the bleacher sections."

"I've been to Yankee Stadium - they're not all A+ butts," Myers said. "There are some bad butts in the stadium."
