Descalso is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Giants.
Analysis:
Descalso has filled in admirably since taking over primary shortstop duties following Trevor Story's (thumb) injury, but he'll get another day off to rest. Christhian Adames will slot in a shortstop for Colorado.
