Mets' Noah Syndergaard: Confirmed as Tuesday's starter
Syndergaard (strep throat) has been confirmed as Tuesday's starter against the Marlins.
Analysis:
This was expected but Syndergaard's inclusion in the lineup did away with any remaining uncertainty as to his status. Syndergaard was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday due to a bout of strep throat but appears primed to make two more starts before the end of the season (including Tuesday's). He has posted a 21:2 K:BB in 14 innings against the Marlins so far this season.
