Brewers' Ryan Braun: Takes day off Tuesday

Braun is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers.

Analysis:

Braun started the past five games, but with the Brewers eliminated from playoff contention they will give their star a day off as the team evaluates younger options. Michael Reed will take over in left field to fill the void.
