Nationals' Tanner Roark: Struggles in loss
Roark (15-10) didn't have his best stuff on Monday against the Diamondbacks, allowing five runs in four innings. He gave up four hits, walked one, and struck out six.
Analysis:
Roark has had himself a brilliant season in his return to the Nationals' rotation, posting a 2.86 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. The righty has more strikeouts than he did the last time he was a full-time starter, but with it has come a sizable increase in walks as well. Roark will make his final regular-season start on Saturday against the Marlins.
