Scully's last game to be aired in full on LA stations
LOS ANGELES (AP) Vin Scully's final game in the Dodgers broadcast booth will be simulcast in its entirety Sunday on the team's cable channel and on Los Angeles TV and radio stations.
Scully will end his 67-year career calling the Dodgers' three-game series at San Francisco to conclude the regular season.
The team said Monday the series' last game will be aired on SportsNet LA, KTLA-TV and AM 570 radio. SportsNet LA, the team's channel, isn't widely seen in Los Angeles because of the ongoing three-year dispute between Time Warner Cable, which carries it, and other pay TV providers.
KTLA had already announced plans to air six Dodgers games, including the final road series.
The Giants have a tribute planned for Scully on Sunday, when they will simulcast his call of the third inning on KNBR radio and on CSN Bay Area television.
The Dodgers clinched their fourth consecutive NL West title Sunday. Scully has said he will not broadcast any postseason games.
