Seattle Mariners slugger Nelson Cruz is awaiting MRI results for his injured left wrist, according to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times, but remains in the lineup for Monday's game against the Houston Astros.

The Mariners' leader in home runs tweaked his wrist in a recent series against the Toronto Blue Jays while swinging a weighted bat. The injury doesn't seem to have affected his power, as the 36-year-old has homered in three consecutive games and has nine total in September.

This season, Cruz is hitting .286/.359/.556 with 41 home runs, and has reached the 100-RBI mark for the second time in his career.
