Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Activated from DL

Kazmir (neck, blister) has been activated from the 15-day DL and is set to start Friday's game against the Rockies, SB Nation's Eric Stephen reports.

Analysis:

He threw a 35-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday and hasn't made a start since Aug. 22, so he is unlikely to go very deep into Friday's start. Kazmir tentatively lines up to make a final start next Thursday in San Diego, which would be a more favorable opportunity to deploy the veteran lefty.
