Yankees' Starlin Castro: Not expected to play in Toronto

Manager Joe Girardi said Friday that he does not expect Castro (hamstring) to return during the Blue Jays series, Brendan Kuty of NJ.com reports.

Analysis:

Castro was said to be "a little more optimistic" about his chances to play before the team leaves Toronto, but it sounds like we probably won't see him again until the Yankees return home to New York. He suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain last weekend and will miss his fifth straight start Friday.
