Orioles' Wade Miley: Set to start Saturday vs. D-Backs

Miley (back) will start Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks, MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli reports.

Analysis:

It was unclear earlier in the week if Miley would be able to make a start before leaving the team to be with his expecting wife, but he will indeed take the ball Saturday and then head off to be with his family for a couple days. Part of the reason the Orioles rolled with Miley is that Kevin Gausman (intercostal) needed some extra rest. Miley was strong through four innings (one hit, zero runs) agains the Rays in his last start before leaving with the back issue, but he wasn't asked to turn that lineup over two full times, let alone three times. He remains a risky option Saturday.
