Thursday's game between the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates came to its conclusion in the sixth inning, ending in a 1-1 tie because of poor weather.
The game was officially suspended and will not be made up.
It was MLB's first tie since 2005. The last time the Cubs and Pirates tied a game was Aug. 7, 1967, according to Ryan M. Spaeder.
