In his final start before becoming a free agent in the offseason, Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Jeremy Hellickson left Thursday's game against the Atlanta Braves in the fourth inning with a right knee sprain.

After striking out Dansby Swanson with a 79-mph changeup, Hellickson gestured for a trainer to come out to the mound.

With a concerned look on his face, Hellickson departed after being waved off the field by manager Pete Mackanin, and was replaced by Colton Murray.

Hellickson should be one of the top starting arms available via free agency in the offseason, joining Andrew Cashner, Brett Anderson, and Ivan Nova.

The 29-year-old Hellickson owned a 12-10 record with a 3.78 ERA across 185 2/3 innings of work entering Thursday's start.
