Brewers journeyman celebrates 'call-up' by re-enacting 'Tommy Boy' scene

Tim Dillard hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2012, so when the 33-year-old right-hander was added to the Milwaukee Brewers' roster - well, their social media team - earlier this week, the well-traveled goofball decided to channel Chris Farley's "Tommy Boy" to express his excitement.

Dillard, who spent the 2016 campaign with the Brewers' Triple-A affiliate, admitted this wasn't the call-up he was seeking, but noted his new position will still allow him to "throw a few curveballs."

"There's no doubt that Tim has a skill set that you won’t find anywhere else," general manager David Stearns told MLB.com's Caitlin Moyer. "He has been part of the Brewers family for many years, and has kept everyone laughing since day one."

According to reports, when Dillard first arrived in the Brewers' clubhouse, he rejected Ryan Braun's handshake, offering this response when asked why he'd snub the former MVP.
