Rangers' Ian Desmond: Out of lineup Wednesday
Desmond is not in the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Angels.
Analysis:
The usual starter in center field will get the day off as the Rangers go with Carlos Gomez in his stead. Gomez will hit atop the order against Angels right-hander Jered Weaver.
