Watch: Colon shows off impressive athleticism on 'routine' double play

For a mere mortal, a double play of this ilk is a feat worth celebrating.
Bartolo Colon, the New York Mets' beloved 43-year-old right-hander, is no mortal, though.
"That's a routine play. I always do that," Colon told MLB.com's Anthony DiComo, laughing.
Colon, whose athleticism clearly belies his 5-foot-11, 285-pound frame, also tossed seven shutout innings on this night, by the way, lowering his ERA to 3.14 - his best since 2013 - through 30 starts and one relief appearance this year.
