Carlos Correa could be a pioneer when it comes to improving his baseball swing through cutting-edge wearable technology.

Thanks to a new app for Apple Watch from tech company Blast Motion, the Houston Astros shortstop can get real-time feedback on his swing, as well as video highlights.

"We’re focused on helping athletes improve through our natural motion capture technologies, while ensuring technology doesn’t get in the way," Donovan Prostrollo, senior director of marketing for Blast Motion, said in a statement, according to Mark J. Burns of SportTechie.com. "Our new Apple Watch app and seamless Siri integration provides a great example of how we’re helping athletes have more fun while improving their swing."

Correa signed a multi-year partnership with Blast Motion at the end of August, two months after the company came to an agreement with MLB to become the league's official provider of bat sensor technology.

"With the Blast Motion sensor, I can easily track and analyze my swings," Correa said last month in a press release. "Seeing my swing data really is the quickest way to make adjustments. The Blast technology helps you improve your game whether you are a pro ballplayer or a kid trying to become one."
