Kang is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Phillies.

Analysis:

He has started eight of the last nine games and has hit .483/.571/.931 with four home runs over that stretch. It's been an up and down year for Kang, but he seems to be finishing on a high note. David Freese will get the start at third base and hit fifth Wednesday.
