Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Diagnosed with spine inflammation

Kazmir has been diagnosed with thoracic spine inflammation, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Kazmir was sent for a bone scan after leaving Wednesday's rehab start with renewed neck and rib pain. The test yielded a diagnosis, but the Dodgers did not immediately offer up any sort of timetable for Kazmir's return. He likely won't have much of a window to contribute if he makes it back at all this season.
