Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Activated from 60-day DL Friday

Kershaw (back) was activated from the 60-day disabled list and is the starting pitcher for Friday's game against the Marlins.

Analysis:

As expected, Kershaw will make his return from a back injury Friday night after being out since June 26. His first test off the DL is a Miami squad competing for a Wild Card spot, although the left-hander fortunately gets to avoid the biggest bat in their lineup, as Giancarlo Stanton (groin) remains out of the lineup.
