Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Departs rehab start with neck and rib pain

Kazmir left Wednesday's rehab outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City in the first inning due to neck and rib pain, Jacob Unruh of The Oklahoman reports.

Analysis:

The Dodgers continue to await the return of multiple key pieces to the starting rotation, and it appears Kazmir may have hit a snag in his recovery. More information on the issue should arise in the coming days, as he will travel back to Los Angeles for further evaluation. He's unlikely to be ready for a start next Monday or Tuesday and the Los Angeles Times' Mike DiGiovanna suggests Jose De Leon could receive another start for the Dodgers.
