Mets' Jose Reyes: Sparks offense with fifth homer

Reyes went 2-for-4 with a walk, a steal and a solo homer in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Reds.

Analysis:

Reyes has been a much-needed spark for the Mets' offense since joining the team in early July. He's hitting .284/.364/.389 with 28 runs scored and seven steals over 162 at-bats for a club that, despite his efforts, ranks 27th in runs scored and 28th in steals.
