Diamondbacks' Shelby Miller: Officially recalled to start Wednesday
Miller was officially recalled from Triple-A to start Wednesday's game against the Giants.
Analysis:
He has been decent enough at Triple-A this year, posting a 3.91 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 55 strikeouts in 50.2 innings while pitching in the harsh conditions of the Pacific Coast League. However, Miller's massive failings in the big leagues this year (7.14 ERA, 1.75 WHIP) should force most owners to take a wait-and-see approach with him over the final month of the season.
