F Kirthmon / Detroit Free Press

It's every rookie's dream to get a hit in their first major-league at-bat, but Detroit Tigers third baseman JaCoby Jones couldn't have imagined his go-ahead RBI double on Tuesday.

After his hit gave the Tigers the lead in an eventual 8-4 win against the Chicago White Sox, Jones pointed to his family members, including his emotional mother, who were on hand to witness his achievement.

The Tigers' ninth-ranked prospect, according to MLB.com, finished the game 2-for-4 with two RBIs. He's the first Tiger since Hank Riebe in 1942 to record two or more hits and two or more RBIs in his major-league debut.
