Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Tosses simulated game on Tuesday

Kazmir (neck) tossed a simulated game on Tuesday and appears to remain on track to return somewhere close to the original 15-day prognosis, reports J.P. Hoornstra of the Orange County Register.

Analysis:

Kazmir is the closest of the three injured starters (Brandon McCarthy, Brett Anderson) to returning according to manager Dave Roberts. Kazmir could be back sometime late next week.
